Our company dates back to, 1875 when our founder Kasif Kalkavan's grandfather, a true lover of the sea transformed his passion and interest intoprofessionaleffors in this area.

Mr. Kasif Kalkavan, who shared his grandfathers passion established a shipping agency in 1945. This passion for maritime business wasreinforced in 1964 after the construction of the 1,500dwt ship named Cafer Kalkavan. After 15 years (in 1979) a second sheet metal shio named Selahattin Kalkavan with a capacity of 2,000 dwt was built.
