As founder of the company, Mehmet Kose has always improved his efforts in shipping sector since the day he started, 1981. In 1994 he established Nur Gemi San. Tic. Ltd. Sti, where he moved one step ahead in his career, and started selling outfitting equipment, pipe and pipe equipment, at the same time he advanced the company with ship repair works.

He has found Istanbul Tersanecilik ve Denizcilik San Tic Ltd Sti with his partners and carried on doing slipway maintenance and repair works for a few years. He has taken over the company from his partners in 2004 and boosted his investments and started new shipbuilding business.

We are enlarging the investment in shipbuilding industry starting from year 2005. Right now, the work is done in 5000m2 shipyard which has 780m2 of prefabrication workshop. Meanwhile, a major shipyard investment is ongoing in Yalova/Altinova. Civil works are continuing in our shipyard which should be able to start production in 2009.
