Our company has been built in 1974 and started operating in Zonguldak, Ereðli, at a distance of 260 km to Ýstanbul,  in 1974 with a single welding engine by producing and repairing fishing boats.

Our shipyard started to get institutional by 1985 under the name of Yilmaz Shipyard and moved to the area of Shipyards that had been built on Guluc district of Karadeniz Eregli.

Yilmaz Shipyard renewed and improved itself accompanying with the huge improvement of shipping industry and as of 2004 we continue to serve in this sector with a stronger structure under the name of Med Yilmaz Shipping Industry Joint Stock Co.
